Project Details:

 

-Wafra Towers – Pace: Situated in the emerging Bahrain Bay district of Bahrain just north of Manama, the project is under design and the towers will create new housing, office, retail, and public spaces, all of which will remain flexible and adaptable to future change. In this way, as the Wafra Towers project. Further develops, it will strengthen local character and support community needs, while simultaneously creating an iconic destination. 

 

-North Manama Causeway and Busaiteen Link – AECOM: The North Manama Causeway (NMC) Phase 2 and Busaiteen Link road network provides key strategic links to future developments in Bahrain. In its recent history, Bahrain has experienced a boom in economic development and population growth. In light of this, AECOM has been awarded a six-year contract to undertake the design and construction supervision of the North Manama Causeway Phase 2 and Busaiteen Link road network by MoWMAUP.

-

-The project is a long term and strategic initiatives for the MoWMAUP 

and aim to service the expansion projected in the Capital and Muharraq Governorate and to supplement the strategic road network. 

 

-Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah Highway Widening and Upgrading – SSHI: The project involves the improvement of the Sh. Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah (SJAS) Highway, including widening and upgrading to a motorway standard between Umm Al Hassam Interchange and the proposed Alba/Nuwaidrat Interchanges by providing a four lane dual carriageway with service roads, and upgrading the existing at-grade junctions to grade separation interchanges. 

 

East Sitra Housing Project – AECOM: The Ministry of Housing is undertaking the reclamation of six separate plots off Sitra on the East coast of Bahrain for the provision of housing, light and heavy. industry facilities. This project is of strategic importance to the Kingdom of Bahrain and the MOH have been active in leading all aspects of this significant project. The construction works include the reclamation of 600ha totalling 25Mm3 material, the provision of shoreline edge protection works consisting of rock revetment, as well as a temporary access causeways with water exchange flushing culverts. Stakeholder management is a key component of the successful delivery.
